Ten Ways To Make Peace With The Past And Create A New Future
Everyone comes into life with a purpose. Spirit guides you from the moment you’re born, and the people and events of your life reflect your spirit's journey. What you learn when you’re young colors your view of yourself and the world, but you don't have to be a victim of your upbringing. Your natural instincts can be restored.
1. Set a New Course
What happens in your life is largely up to you. Do what uplifts you. What you dedicate yourself to, you can create.
2. Trust Your Intuition
"That little voice” inside is your spirit's guidance. Don't second-guess yourself. Stand your ground. Do what you think is best at the moment.
3. Look For A Silver Lining
How things appear is affected by how you look at them. Search for the positive. You already have the resources to build the life you want. Learn to use them.
4. Take a Step Back
Notice your destructive habitual patterns. What would you rather do?You have the right to the life you want.
5. Watch What You Say
Be kind. Tell the truth. Speak carefully. Make things right. Know when to shut up. Don't interrupt. Don't brag. Don't give unsolicited advice. Don't gossip. Watch what you listen to.
6. Don't Keep Score
Fulfilling your potential is all that counts. If a dream sours, look for new options. A losing battle may be a stepping-stone to a better situation.
7. No Villains, No Victims
Relationships are like jigsaw puzzles. Everything fits together to create the whole. Holding a grudge only drains your energy.
8. Meditate and Treat Yourself Well
Make time to enjoy yourself. Believe in your fondest dreams. Imagine a healing light shining through your mind and body.
9. Get Outside Help
Talking about your feelings can clear up confusion and set your creative energy free. Don't expect The Answer, but do explore what makes sense to you.
10. Move On
Be honorable, and intend the best for everyone. Follow your heart. Let go of what doesn’t work. Pass along what you learn.
